My View on Animal Replicas

Does anybody else view animal toy replicas as like 3D versions of those scientific artwork of animals? I especially view this with the more realistic animal replicas, such as the ones made by CollectA.
I'm a huge fan of South American wildlife.

You mean like the artwork in 'field guides'? Yeah, that makes sense - a 3D-field guide!

I do in fact think of them like 3 dimensional paintings in a way, I also love looking at paintings of animals in different styles

I've always regarded my collection as a miniature museum, which is one reason I collect animal figures to begin with. I've always wanted my home to look like a private museum and I am happy to report that I am succeeding.
