I'm satisfied with ToyMany Leopard gecko. And yes I understand that the blobfish needed to be a deceased specimen as that's the whole reason it is named as such.

I just better see some wild ungulates!

I don't think the name means it needed to be a dead specimen. Every plush, toy, keychain (you name it) of the blobfish depicts a dead one, it would have been nice to get a model of a live one for a change, and that's what I would expect from a company like CollectA.

This one will definitely sell better though, especially as a gag gift. It's fun, it's ridiculous, and it's memeable.

You're right, but it has been done before. Maybe we'll get Grumpy cat next, if CollectA is going to start making meme toys.

Moo Deng is more current and, well... I'm sure you saw the post.

Moo Deng is alive and at the end of the day, just a baby pygmy hippo. So toys of Moo Deng are just toys of baby hippos. I don't understand the pushback for wanting a model of a living specimen of an animal that doesn't have one.

It's also just gross looking (because it's a gross bloated corpse) and sad, frankly. I agree, basically a toy of roadkill. But at least roadkill is a common enough thing to have interesting potential for dioramas with scavengers.

The takahe is an instant yes, despite the grass on the legs. The marmot no, I'll keep the Papo.

Also probably new horses and dinos, but I'm not following those.
