NGL, the zoo's conditions don't look the best. The Pygmy hippo exhibit from where I'm from has them in a glasses enclosure with 2 displays, both a considerable distance from one another, alongside African cichlids

I wouldn't say the exhibit looks bad, it seems to be a good size with shelter, shade and swimming space. It's just less elaborate because it's a smaller facility (hence being overrun by visitor numbers).

Hopefully Moo Deng's popularity will generate the funds needed for them to make improvements!

I showed it to my wife and she immediately pre-ordered it. Guess I'll be reviewing that one for the blog someday!

EDIT: I recently reviewed a pygmy hippo for the blog, in light of Moo Deng's popularity. I'm saddened that it has such a low rating! I guess not everyone is a fan of pygmy hippos.  :P
