I know some people have hope. Never understand why  ;D

Can anyone tell the difference between the three species of Right Whale? From what I've gathered, they're more or less indistinguishable. Not enough for me to get a new species of Right Whale when I already have one.

They are morphologically indistguishable, although anecdotally the amount of white might help at times. I already have the Safari right whale as a northern, so I won't be getting this Schleich version despite it being specifically advertised as a northern.

@callmejoe3 might have more to contribute.

I wonder if the silkie chicken will be new or a re-release of the one from the bagged chicken set a few years ago.
Trans rights are human rights.

Its hard to tell from the angle of the photo I saw, and they are both very pale in color, but it looks like a different sculpt based on the feather texture.

Been busy, haven't caught this. The most reliable external morphological difference between Eubalaenais that the adult size of the North Pacific species is ~2 meters longer on average than the other species.

Gwangi

I have the Safari right whale and although I prefer getting one of each species I guess I can make an exception here, since there are two species of right whale. A good excuse to get another figure of my favorite baleen whale.

Interesting. Given the negligible size difference I don't see a reason to get another one when I already have SafariLtd's.

Wish someone made a good sized Fin Whale.

@bmathison1972, Mojo Fun has revealed a new golden retriever on their Facebook page. Did you want to start a thread for them too?

Thanks @suspsy - thread started with image!

Added pics (albeit kinda small) to the first thread. Got wildlife, farm animals, horses, dinosaurs; will add playset later.

Some Schleich 2025 are showing up in shops in Germany. Forum member widukind posted pics of the right whale and indri on the STS forum.

Animalibus

I would like Schleich or Collecta to make a female American Bison and a new calf

SAgirl2004

I never thought we'd see a figure of the indri.
I'm a huge fan of South American wildlife.

But we already have  ;) - Play Visions produced one in 1999! I am going to get this Schleich one when it becomes available in the US. It's already in shops in Germany.

Kudos to Schleich on their indri. I got it on Saturday and it's really good IMHO.
Captures the facial expression pretty good, it's more detailed than I expected and the species choice is really good.

Will not normally say this for a, let's say CollectA or Papo, since we are all used to their high quality, but given the Schleich last years...

Gald to hear! I see it's available in the US now but I am waiting to get it with the European Tree Frog.

This Megalodon is planned for Schleich's later releases this year:
