I just ordered the retired old Schleich Right Whale from eBay last week...I wonder if they'll reuse the old sculpt or if they have a new one.

Their trend as of late is new sculpts.

The Indri and European tree frog are of greatest interest to me, as they are new species.

I like poultry so I'll probably get the Plymouth Rock chicken (I already have a nice silky).

The Welsh Corgi is a big 'maybe'.

I think I'd pick up the Indri when I see it. That's about it.

I don't like the Plymouth Rock chicken, so I won't be getting that one, but the Indri and European tree frog look great!

I wished the Indri had a more dynamic pose. And the European Tree Frog looks a bit skinny.

But hopefully if the quality doesn't drop too far from the 'release' photos then I'll be satisfied.

just as a quick note I see why people thought this thread was deleted; while it is listed under a "new for 2025" category, that "new for 2025" category has not been physically added into the Animal toy lines page or to the list of "new for" links on the homepage so is hard to find.

Also this page does not seem to appear under recent topics

@NSD Bashe - are you sure? It shows up for me under Animal Toy Lines on the main home page:



It's under the 'Subboards' at the top, before all of the other topics under Animal Toy Lines:




Lastly, it won't show up under Recent Topics unless it was one of the last 15 topics to be posted in.

EDIT: I logged out and also couldn't see it. I think it has something to do with permissions when I set it up. I set it to match previous years. Let me know if you can see it now.

I find it disappointing how mammal-heavy Schleich's modern animal lineups are.  Besides that, I have hope that the Dilophosaurus and Velociraptor are quite accurate.  I've been wanting Schleich to make a Velociraptor based on the real animal rather than a JP/JW bootleg for years.

They've made several attempts at both dinosaurs. There's a reason most of us expect very little.

That right whale is very nice; and they specifically market it as a northern!
