Thanks @Kenc - I added the Wildlife Babies to the first post.

Please post all new releases here, even if common species; our audience has a very broad range of interests  :))

Thanks!

Quote from: JimoAi on July 30, 2024, 11:50:03 AMI would love to see the following fishes be made:

Electric eel

Red tailed catfish

Giant guitarfish

giant stingray

I hope they can be considered!

I will second that of all the rays, we could really use a proper giant guitar fish.

Before this conversation goes further, this is a 'New for' thread, not a wishes and wants thread. There is a thread already for discussing new ideas for Toymany: https://animaltoyforum.com/index.php?topic=3405.0

SerAndrew

And what I already mentioned, binturong, coati, jaguarundi, ...

And 90 minutes later... ;D

I don't really collect babies of wildlife, but with this set, I could knock out a bunch at once. It looks like they may scale ok with 'standard-sized' models by multiple brands. Hmmmmm

Kenc

@JimoAi @sbell guitar fish, wooden duck, false killer whale are the most popular animals we've collected so far. :)

This deer didn't stand well when it arrived, and only after I corrected them with my hands was he able to stand. Compared to the other animals I think his legs are a bit floppy, maybe it's an issue with sample defects, normal items don't, but I still wanted to make this clear to you guys.

I really do love them, please pass along the feedback to the team behind this set! And your news is exciting! A wood duck! A whole fleet of duck species would be amazing.

EpicRaptorMan

A good wood duck & good sized false killer whale would be nice.

Kenc

Update, a frog set is in the works and I expect it to be available in 2-3 months. No samples have been sent to the company yet, here's a picture taken when the workers submitted the first version of the model.

Translated from the Chinese name, there may be some inaccuracies, if you know the correct kind. Please correct me.

Yellow-banded poison dart frog:Dendrobates leucomelas is a common poison dart frog found in the northern part of continent of South America, most notably in Venezuela.

Cobalt blue poison dart frog:Blue poison dart frogs live in the tropical rainforests of southern Suriname, South America. They are terrestrial but stay near water. Because they do not have webbed feet, these frogs are not good swimmers and do not spend time in the water.

Darwin's frog :Rhinoderma darwinii, also called the Southern Darwin's frog,[2] is a species of Chilean/Argentinian frog of the family Rhinodermatidae.

The American bullfrog (Lithobates catesbeianus), often simply known as the bullfrog in Canada and the United States, is a large true frog native to eastern North America.

The Chinese name for this one is 黄金蛙, which translates into English as Golden Frog, but I didn't find a very good match. Maybe you guys know?

These look great @Kenc

The 'golden frog' is one of the horned frogs, possibly the Surinam horned from (Ceratophrys cornuta). I think the golden variety is a domestic morphotype but I'll let others confirm.

MudpupWaterdog

Those are beautiful! I'm especially excited about the American bullfrog. Golden and Darwin's looking real good too.

sbell

Those look great! But yeah, the 'golden frog' is definitely a horned frog. Not sure of species, but the paint is a domestic color, not wild.

Saarlooswolfhound

These are beautiful, really wonderful!!!

EpicRaptorMan

Already have some dart frogs and the Darwin frog. But the bullfrog is interesting to me.

stargatedalek

These look great! That bullfrog in particular is very cool.
Trans rights are human rights.

EpicRaptorMan

I'm still curious about that primate set. And I also saw something about a good porcupinefish finally?

Kenc

Yes,I think its a horned frogs.  In Chinese Wikipedia:The golden frog is a national treasure of Panama and its image can be seen everywhere. It belongs to the horned frog group of albino South American horned frogs
