3. Hawksbill Sea Turtle
4. Olive Ridley's
5. Leatherback Sea Turtle
6. Loggerhead Sea Turtle (juvenile)

2. Green
3. Hawksbill
6. Loggerhead

These I am reasonably certain of. With 1 and 4 I have been flipping between flatback, olive ridley and Kemps ridley all day.  :-[
I like turtles.

Thank you for making this topic! I appreciate any and all thoughts on it; I will share in person pics when my set arrives.

@BlueKrono I thought 6 was the Green Sea turtle personally.

I think based on the carapace alone #4 would be the Olive Ridley. Or maybe the Kemp Ridley...honestly there's so much variation between each species it's hard to tell.

This is a better way to get the answers you're looking for than making a post that will ultimately get lost among pages and pages of another long thread. ;)

BlueKrono

@EpicRaptorMan I'd have to respectfully disagree with you there. I've worked with green sea turtles in Baja California and they have that distinctive rounded face. I don't think it was an accident they used green on the shell either. #6 is one of the most distinctive: its pronounced beak and high peaks on the shell mark it as the loggerhead. I'm still perturbed I can't figure out the ridley(s). Granted I've never seen one in person, but I named my only child Ridley after them!
I like turtles.

EpicRaptorMan

@BlueKrono I'd argue that a lot of these sea turtle figures have pretty round faces. The only minor complaint with the #6 If it were a loggerhead would be the ridges protruding on the central scutes as that's primarily a distinguishing characteristics of some juveniles, but I see what you're saying.

I'm going with Olive Ridley for #4.

stargatedalek

6 is definitely a loggerhead, the raised scutes give it away.

This pretty well guarantees 2 is a green by process of elimination.

I looked further down on the listing and saw real life pictures that ToyMany based their toys off of.
Below is of Turtle #6

That's a pic of a green, but the sculpt has a different front flipper orientation, beak and scute shape. Weird.
I like turtles.

EpicRaptorMan

@BlueKrono yeah def looks like a Green to me too.
Still, if you want a Loggerhead I don't think this is the best. Though I may get this set just for the Green Sea Turtle and Hawksbill.

So if anyone wants to buy the remainder off of me for cheap then lmk

I think the Yujin one is pretty good, but this might actually be the best due to the shell with those scutes.

Well, again, the scutes are just a juvenile characteristic and I'm not really interested in collecting babies of a species.

Below is the various life stages of a Loggerhead.

Anyways I updated the OP to reflect this.

BlueKrono

Based on the fact that they gave the green turtle a GREEN shell I would posit that #1 is likely our olive ridley. #4 is the one that's still a mystery to me, unless you see some characteristic that you think marks it as an olive or something else.
I like turtles.

@BlueKrono the shape of the scutes on the carapace is the reason I gave for #4 being an Olive Ridley. Which are more rectangular. While Flatback Sea turtles have more rounded scutes.1000007744.png
I would also like to note that even though there is variations of coloration with sea turtles, but the photo presented here matches with my assumption that #1 is the Flatback and #4 is the Olive Ridley

BlueKrono

That makes sense to me. Those are good illustrations btw. I second @EpicRaptorMan in IDing #1 as a flatback.
I like turtles.

Saarlooswolfhound

Here they are! I don't have a lot of sea turtles so I decided fo snag this set but now I need to decide what species they represent in my collection but obviously that's what this topic will help with!

They are nicely made and have a lot of texture! My only complaint is whomever painted these two's eyes completly missed!

EpicRaptorMan

Crazy how the leatherback is the smallest of the six.

I might get this set for the green sea turtle and the Hawksbill. I might keep the Flatback or the Olive Ridley's so if anyone here would like to take the Leatherback and Loggerhead juvenile off of my hands then let me know.

@BlueKrono @Saarlooswolfhound @stargatedalek

Looks like we were all wrong. I reached out to ToyMany and they provided a sheet revealing the species of each toy. ^_^

BlueKrono

Bahaha! That's hilarious. One thing does jump out at me though: that "Atlantic turtle". Kemp's ridleys are the only sea turtle species found solely in the Atlantic. So perhaps we could switch your olive to a Kemps. Seriously, thank you for reaching out to the company. I like primary sources.
I like turtles.

EpicRaptorMan

I think I'm going to keep it as the Olive Ridley here. The Kemp is more typically a contrasting white/black coloration. They do live in the Atlantic, but they're one of the rarest sea turtles. Meanwhile, the Olive Ridley also inhabits the Atlantic but is one of the most abundant species in the world.
