I ordered the R&A set on Tuesday. It was supposed to arrive yesterday (my local Amazon warehouse must have it). But it was never delivered with a new ETA today. We shall see...

They have arrived!

For starters, I am retaining seven of them:

1. frilled lizard, Chlamydosaurus kingii
Replaces my Kaiyodo Reptiles Lounge figure. The Kaiyodo figure is very nice and dynamic, but requires assembly, is delicate, and comes on a trophy-style base. This Toymany version is larger, but still smaller than those by CollectA and Safari.

2. central bearded dragon, Pogona vitticeps
Bearded dragons are difficult to ID at the species level, and those in the pet trade are often misidentified. Still, I chose this to represent P. vitticeps as it is the most common species in the pet trade and thus the more familiar. It replaces the Furuta/Kaiyodo Chocoegg Pet Series figure, which is very nice and smaller, but requires assembly. This Toymany version is still smaller than those by Safari and CollectA. I worry the tail might be a bit too long, but not exaggeratingly so.

3. Indian red scorpion, Hottentotta tamulus
Toymany advertised this as a 'red scorpion' and in studying images online, it is a very good likeness for H. tamulus! As such it's a new species in toy/figure form!!!

4. redback spider, Latrodectus hasselti
I have a few of these, so it's not really needed, but I decided to keep it

5. Solomon Island leaf frog, Cornufer guentheri
Toymany advertised it as such, and it's a very good likeness. Another new species in toy/figure form

6. black caiman, Melanosuchus niger
Toymany specifically called it a black caiman and it's a good likeness. Nice to have a caiman figure specifically marketed at the species level in the 'standard-sized' range.

7. Indian cobra, Naja naja
I surprise retention. Very nice in-hand. Replaces the Safari TOOB figure. The fangs and protruding tongue are actually sharp to the touch!

I didn't photograph the others as they are still in their cellophane wrapping. I am contemplating keeping the axolotl, too. My leucistic axolotl is by Yowie Group and it's the exact same size as my wild-type from Kaiyodo. I find it nice to have the two morphotypes in the same scale. But this Toymany one is so nice, I might swap it out eventually...

These are awesome! Thank you for showing some of them! And congrats.

The frilled lizard and solomon leaf frog are interesting.

I decided I'm content with the SafariLtd Caiman instead of this one.

I've ordered the sharks set for Xmas justvfor the Tiger and hammerhead as I really dislike the material the Schleich ones used.

Noticed how the Mako/great white has a massive glow up in the next set

the blue shark is too blue

I'll see the Zebra shark in hand before considering adding it to my collection

The whale shark is good but pales to the Papo one

I think the lions are nice, if for nothing else than different poses. No one has ever done a sitting male, and I only have one lying down lioness. I like the diversity.

@Blaine, those are nice sheep if you want different colors for a flock (like I do). But they are copies of Schleich figures, just an fyi for people. :)

OK thanks. I compared them to Mojo but didn't think about Schleich!  :o

That looks like a female pronghorn, which is different. Worthwhile just for that!

I have ordered numerous sets and will present them here when they come
The North Am. set is one of them. :D They probably won't come until well after Christmas though.
