I have at one time or another collected every beetle figure I was aware of, and I don't ever remember seeing anything reminiscent of a dermestid.

Well it's good to know I'm not missing out on anything. As an aspiring taxidermist I wish there was one though.

Has Grant's stag beetle been made by anyone but Wing Mau? I'm looking for a decent one.

@BlueKrono - one was made by Sega for their small Mushi King line, but it's probably hard to track down. See this thread (it was in set 6):
