Both actually. I got the Takara tomy sharks just to review and for the seaweed that came with the whale shark

yes, I have one of the same size by Nihon Auto Toy (NAT) but that one is probably harder to find

They both come with bases originally. One attaches with a peg and one sits loosely on a flat base. I am not near my collection at the moment so I can't check which is which (but I think yours is the 2017 figure).
