Some big beetles by Bandai. Don't know much about this set, but I'll probably pass since they are large and don't offer up any species I don't already have at least 10 figures of LOL

Due in October, a set revolving around the peacock spider (looks like three species)
@Beetle guy @stargatedalek @sphyrna18

Also, the next mantis set; this is not the same as the recent Takara release, this is a follow-up to the giant Japanese mantids from last year:

Those are wonderful! I had difficulty getting the previous mantis set so I ultimately passed on it, but this one is an absolute must get.
Trans rights are human rights.

The peacock spiders are incredible, from what I can see in the images, the male figures can fold and unfold the abdomen just like the real life ones!!!

A set of Allomyrina and Dynastes from their Gashapon Ikimono Encyclopedia. Not sure how big they are.

Some gold prehistoric critters. Looks like they might come in the clay(?) substrate and you have to 'excavate' them?
@Halichoeres - is that how you read it?

Halichoeres

Yeah, that's what it looks like to me. Given the size and simplicity of the invertebrates, I wonder if you get them all in one blob of matrix.

A second set of lucanids; these are large, require assmebly, and are articulated:

1. Hexarthrius mandibularis
2. Lucanus maculifemoratus
3. Prosopocoilus inclinatus (larva)
4. Rhaetulus didieri

Halichoeres

Those are really nice-looking beetles. Nice to see a larva included.

I ordered all four but the larva is priority!

Beetle guy

The antennae are much better proportioned than those of the first stagbeetle set. Also better wings and  each beetle has it's entirely own sculpt (the former set had P. inclinatus abdomen and thorax for the two other species).

Really excited for this set! I ordered two pieces of the Lucanus maculifemoratus. One I am going to transform into L. cervus (the only lucanus in the area I live).
To beetle or not to beetle.

Lanthanotus

Those beetles are incredibly life like in their proporations.... how far plastic molding has gone in the last decades.... just comes to mind as I added the "More Dinosaur figures and playsets" book to my collection just today :D

Some 'Premium Gashapon' leopard geckos by Bandai. They are large, probably 1:1 give or take:

bmathison1972

These released now, but I don't know if it's the eventual release of something mentioned earlier or a new set. Bandai does a lot of reissuing, so it's sometimes hard to keep up with the sets.

More rhino beetles, due in December (I think)

The second volume of the scarabs collection, now available:

And some 'cute' reptiles (but possibly interesting species):
