Schleich did market it as a desert warthog  :)

Where on this site does it say this? I am also excited about this, the only other desert warthog i know of is the colorata which is way too small for me!

Nevermind I found I've added this figure to my personal wishlist.

Thanks for the clarification @Advicot! I usually skip product pages when compiling info for my spreadsheets, so I'll have to check them more carefully in the future.

Well, more stuff has arrived...

Papo Snow Leopard (2014)

This wasn't a figure I was all too fussed with when I first received it. The dull, yellow-looking colors made it feel like a toy that had been left outside for decades, constantly exposed to sunlight, despite being a new figure. It had been in a box for the past few months, waiting to be sold, but when it came time to take pictures for that sale, I don't know, it grew on me. Despite many companies having made snow leopards, many of which with better colors than this one, all of their sculpts were really smooth and simple, so this looks to be the best bet for the foreseeable future.

Schleich Manatee (2021)

Probably the least exciting figure out of this lot, but definitely one of my favorites. This is one of those increasingly rare really good Schleich models that is just a solid replica of the animal. I love it and I'm happy to finally have a member of sirenia in my collection.

CollectA Basking Shark (2021)

Finally, my favorite figure of this haul. For so long, I made do with Safari's Basking Shark, which, while good, was so small. And, honestly, after getting this one, I can't say I miss it. This figure just knocks the ball out of the park. I love how relatively complex the detail work is in terms of the patterns and the paint inside the mouth.

Nice haul. The CollectA Basking shark was basically my most anticipated figure of the year. Mine's still on the way, but it landed in the U.S. Since last week.

@callmejoe3 - did you order from MiniZoo? When I do, I always pay for the Express with signature option. It's the most expensive, but it's the safest and you'll get it in about a week. Also, since the USD is stronger than the AUD, it's not quite as expensive as advertised ;-)

@callmejoe3 Thanks. About the Basking Shark, I don't think you'll be disappointed, it's definitely one of my favorite's this year.

@bmathison1972 yeah, minizoo is the best way to get these figures for sure. Especially since I'm in California, so the shipping is cheaper than some domestic retailers.

Yeah, I only went for standard since I was in no rush.  Though I'll definitely go with express next time.
