I was recently informed that Toymany has sent me (and Paige) the new Madagascar Set. Assuming I get it in time, the plan is for me to do an overview of it on the Blog in conjunction with the formal announcement from Toymany later this month. Because the set will likely have taxa that some members may want to do in-depth reviews of, my initial blogpost will me more of a general overview.

I might also be receiving the Cheetahs set as well.

As some of you know, I upload new Animal and Dino Toy Blog reviews on the STS thread, 'Introducing the Animal Toy Blog':

I used to do this every time a post was announced on either thread (just reviews, not announcements). However, I am probably going to start doing it just once a week. If you want your post announced sooner, you can always mention it yourself (you'll need an STS account). For now, I plan on doing any remaining updates this coming Saturday. The only two missing at the moment are the RTF rainbow trout and Safari mahi-mahi (DTB is caught up at the time of this writing).

When you reply to a post on STS, you automatically sign up for alerts to that thread. I hate getting alerts so I always turn them off. There are two ways to do that.

1. Before you sumbit your post, go to the Options tab along the bottom, click the + sign on the right and unclick 'Notify me when a reply is posted'.

2. After you reply and you get directed back to the thread, there is an option to 'stop watching' in the lower right.

As I said, I hate getting alerts for things. The only two threads I have alerts to on ATF are 'ATB Review Schedule' (this one LOL) and 'New Animal Toy Blog Entries' because of my role as editor.

I received my review samples today of the Toymany Madagascar set. I plan on taking images tonight and tomorrow and presenting an overview of the set on the Blog Sunday May 18th.

I am sure there are individual figures that others may want to do an in-depth review for, so I am going to keep my overview fairly high-level.

EDIT: I also wanted to say that my forum and Blog activity will be greatly reduced 5/18-5/21 and any Guest Reviews submitted during that time will not get posted until after the 21st
