Good birding up City Creek Canyon today. No lifers, but two species new for that designated hotspot, the golden-crowned kinglet and mountain chickadee

Also, I studied the squirrels better and there are both fox and American reds. Saw another mountain cottontail, too!

Saw four turkeys strutting through the neighborhood yesterday, and today I saw a squirrel hanging on my fence with a pizza and then a dog peeked his head through my door.

Congrats on all the lifers. So many of those are common feeder/backyard birds for me! Eastern phoebe...my unborn daughter's middle name will be Phoebe, after the bird of course.

Thanks, I am sure I saw some of these when I lived in Atlanta (before I started birding), but nice to officially document them.
