Probably because rat-petting tanks often feature them, so obvious gift shop merch. Yet last time I went to several places in Florida I never saw any version for sale (but lots of petting tanks)

@BlueKrono, that is Dr. Burgess's Atlas of Marine Aquarium Fishes. It's a huge book, and it's quite affordable too.
