@callmejoe3 still doesn't have an author's page, @bmathison1972 , and so there is no way to access his personal library of written reviews.

Perhaps @callmejoe3 can work with @animaltoyforum on getting that page (or maybe I can go it if CMJ03 sends text and images)

BTW, that reminds me, ATB has a quirky issue that the DTB doesn't. On a given review, for example the recent fur seal by callmejoe3, there isn't an option to click on his name to see all of his reviews. That function used to exist but doesn't (it does on DTB); that's a good way to find an author's reviews if they don't have an author page yet :)

Yes, I noticed that as well, which is what prompted me to look for his author's page. That also means that you cannot access a list of guest reviews, as that was the only way to see a list of them before. Reviews are also now listed in order of publication, not alphabetical like they used to be but that's just an observation. Makes no difference to me. I think these changes occurred when we were having trouble posting.

This came up for today's Museum post, so it inspired me to review it for the Blog.

FYI, I just realised that Marsh Education are aware of the Animal Toy Blog and have been sharing and commenting on our reviews of their Safari Ltd fish on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/marsheducation

They're clearly enjoying and grateful for the reviews. ^-^

Ah, I may have missed some manual code updates when I updated the blog software recently. Whatever functionality is on the DTB is possible on the ATB so I'll look into that when I have a chance.

Oh wow, that is AWESOME! I had no idea. I'll be posting a review for the last fish in their set (the bonytail chub) in a couple weeks. It has been fun writing about them.

Slow day, so I threw together the review of a set of ants I've been wanted to cover for a while:

mom, only...

Also, this is perfect for the hashtag #caturday on Mastodon! Now that Twitter has gone to the dogs I've migrated all my social media presence to Mastodon, including promoting the ATB.

The Safari bonytail chub. All the Marsh Education fishes have now been reviewed on the blog.  8)

I can only think that Breyer reviews on the blog would help a lot with traffic, hopefully we get more of them. I'm surprised there aren't more horse collectors submitting reviews of them but they probably have their own blogs/review channels.

It's a huge community, way larger than any other animal collecting group. So while I'd never look for one at all (farm and domestic animals hold zero interest for me) there's likely many dedicated fora and Facebook groups

Harecraft Horses runs a personal blog and gave me permission to migrate over reviews from it; there will be more!

That's good to hear! And I'll have to check out that blog. While I don't collect Breyer, or horse breeds, I do appreciate them. They're beautiful! I guess horses are to the animal toy community what T. rex is to the prehistoric toy community.

Yeah, that's wonderful. Also, their photographs are stunning.  8)
