Japanese Tiger beetle on the Blog..

Wonderful thanks! I was going to email you this weekend to nudge you for another review LOL. :-D

I didn't know japonica was sunk as a subspecies of chinensis; I'll have to update my database this weekend, too.

Suspsy's next Guest Review, the 2011 CollectA octopus. Funny, I received this exact same figure in the mail, the very day he sent his review in!

Very nice, this platypus has been on my wishlist since ages, as it's the only one with a decent sice in the trade, all the other platypus from other brands are ginormous.

Yeah, before this figure was released, I had been using the Mojo Fun figure as my representative figure for that reason, but even it's too big (not to mention having quite bad colours). Now I desperately need to acquire the Southlands version.

Anyway, my second review: http://animaltoyforum.com/blog/2019/10/27/common-cuckoo-birdtales-series-2-by-kaiyodo/
(a.k.a. Ravonium, on the DTF and STS)

Wonderful review, Badger. Our first Birdtales figure!

I added 'Cuckoos' as a category since birds have at least ordinal-level breakdown. We might want to consider adding 'Birdtales' to as there is the potential for more and they don't fall within the realm of Chocoegg, Choco Q, CapsuleQ

Yeah, I think you should add either 'Birdtales' or 'Bottlecap' to the categories for this entry.

Yeah, I think you should add either 'Birdtales' or 'Bottlecap' to the categories for this entry.

Bottlecap (Bottlecap Series; Bottlecap Lines) could be good, as it will cover many of the Aquatales sets (Aquatales would be deserving of its own, however), Souvenirs Entomologiques, and possible others!

Since it's been quiet, I transferred over one of my walkarounds, the orange-striped shrimp goby (and its shrimp symbiont!) by For Corporation:
