With my recent Ikimon acquisition, let's start with the giant deep sea isopod, Bathynomus giganteus Milne-Edwarrds, 1879.
It's amazing how figures of this species have exploded in the last 4-5 years!

must be the light; I couldn't tell them apart if I didn't keep them separated on the shelf LOL


The Japanese spiny lobster, Panulirus japonicus (von Siebold, 1824).

At the time of this initial writing, this is one of five species of Panulirus and one of six members of the family Palinuridae (spiny lobsters) in toy/figure form that are attributable to the species level.
