Hello , this is the male lion of Papo.

Papo do good figure of animals, but the best figures that they have done and they do is the felines. This brand have done the best figures of felines, but they are following by Safari. Papo male lion is perfect. Proportions of this figure are very accurate. His face is perffect and the hair of his mane is amazing. I think that this lion will be able to a Atlas lion (Panthera leo leo) but I think that they have little hair in his belly. I bought this amazing figure in the same travel that I bought the hyena  ^-^.

I think the same Papo felines are the best and this lion is a good example  ^-^.

Hi, I'm new to this forum so whatever mistake I incur, please bear with me.

I've been collecting (all things that piqued my curiosity) for quite some time now. I've always been a big cat fanatic and I want to acquire the best figures out there that depict these majestic beasts in their likeness accurately and realistically.
Having said that, I look at this Papo Lion and I noticed that they could've made the mouth open. Big cats usually walk about with their mouths open because of their breathing or panting. The only time I see them with their mouths closed is when they are lying down and relaxing or observing. Or when they're sneaking up on their prey stealthily.
If this lion would've had its jaws sculpted slightly open and the lower canines showing, it would've been the perfect lion figure.
