just won on ebay, Cadbury Yowie (Australian version) of the Australian crayfish, common yabby (Cherax descructor) and bought individually the Lost Kingdom Yowie xiphosuran, Dubbolimulus.

I already had the UK version of the yabby; the Dubbolimulus has been on my wish list for a loooooong time. I don't have pics but here are links to the species:

yabby: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherax_destructor
Dubbolimulus: http://collections.museumvictoria.com.au/imagedisplay.php?irn=345454&reftable=ecatalogue&refirn=1423248

P.S. there are two yabby figures in the purchase so if someone needs one...

For anyone wondering, thi sis the Dubbolimulus:

Do you have the Yowies mantis shrimp? Neat little figure--surprised there aren't more of them.

bmathison1972

yes, I have the Yowies mantis shrimp (only recently acquired). I have three mantis shrimps: Yowies, Yujin, AAA.

Those are the only ones I know--and I never see the Yujin for a price I'm willing to pay (the AAA is too big for my space).

If you have the budget, there is also this cool one from Shapeways

Actually acquired some things recently.

Safari Desert Pupfish arrived

And the Safari Ornate Horned Frog

I am actually prepared to do walk arounds of them! I never remember to do that!

Also got a live one--a Polypterus delhezi! It was smaller than I'd thought at the store, and my albino senegal would probably eat it (or try hard enough to hurt it). So I had to buy a small tank to grow it up first.

Really nice acquisitions  ^-^. They are a good replicas definetly  ^-^.

I'm guessing "Joan" is a "she" and they are "her" sculptures. ;)

sauroid

oh Joan is a he, that's just how they spell Juan in their part of Spain.

Well now I know that! I may have been thinking of some other sculptor.

Congrats, sauroid! :) The Mojö Fun Rhino looks good... the texture seems to be similar to that of the Mojö Megacerops & Deinotherium.

Awesome acquistions friends  ^-^. The last weeks I bought these figures.

These are from a flea market and a great store.

These are from a store of Cádiz.

And finally this weekend I went to Madrid and I bought a lot of figures, some of them are a true treasures. However, I think that one of the best treasures that I caught is a WWD Liopleurodon that I won in a bid in Ebay the last thursday :)). After I will share the books  ^-^.

Yesterday I received the recent Kaiyodo ChocoQ museum giant water bug (Lethocerus deyrollei) and predaceus water flea (Leptodera kindtii).

The Leptodera is obviously a unique figure, but the Lethocerus is my 6th from the Japanese lines. Previous models include: Kaiyodo (ChocoQ Animatales and Shinagawa Aquarium), Yujin (Insects of Japan), Bandai, and F-toys (Creatures of the Waterside).
