Congrats everyone!

@Shane, that luna moth is truly special- congratulations!

sphyrna18

That is a great figure @Shane!  It took me a while to find that one, as well, but it is well worth it!  The Lubber Grasshopper and Leaf Insect are two of my absolute favorites from the Smithsonian Collection along with the Luna Moth.  Isn't it about time Safari releases updated figures for these 3 insects???  ;)

These four are my newest. I did get a fire Coral but unsure if I'll keep it.

Wow! I must've missed that one! Very Nice! Thank you for the info!!

Eldrador is usually too weird for me, but how could I not get this?

It's even physically not bad!

Been a good week for hyenas! My Colorata hyena and dhole arrived from Japan!

I got a new Diormansion. This one is called 'Quarry' and it will be good for critters that live in mountainous habitats.

Also, I didn't realize this when I got it, it is a Dioramansion 200, so it's 20 cm square. My others are Dioramansion 150, which are 16 cm square. So, it's larger which means I can use it for slightly larger figures. I wish I could replace some of my older 150 dioramas with 200 versions, but it looks like a given style is in a single size.

Those are awesome. Which they were a little cheaper

Congratulations everyone! Very neat new additions.

@sbell, glad you got a hold of those Colorata. It took me a loooooong while to get my dhole.

@bmathison1972 that's a really attractive background, congrats!

Thanks. If I could have gotten the maned wolf that would've been great. But nope. The only one was way too much

I've obtained:

The Takara Tomy emperor scorpion, deathstalker, yellow fat-tailed scorpion, thick-tailed scorpion and red claw emperor scorpion.  I'm very happy to finally have these!  The emperor scorpion is my favourite, I've loved that species since I had a toy of it when I was little.  I like the red claw emperor a lot too, it shares the sculpt with the emperor scorpion but they look quite different when next to each other.  The fat-tailed and thick-tailed scorpions are very interesting.  The deathstalker is slightly weak in my opinion, it's very small and mine came with the legs lying pushed right up next to the body.  It's nice, although I prefer Safari's deathstalker to it.

The Eikoh flying fox, pangolin and alligator snapping turtle.  I'm not going to keep the mammals, I'm just not into them enough.  I am keeping the alligator snapping turtle however, it's great to have a good figure of it!

Kaiyodo electric eel.  Similar to the aforementioned turtle, I'm happy to have a good figure of an electric eel!

Eikoh flying fox is in my wishlist...

Somewhat new batch. Finally decided to get the Papo wall lizard & Ruby-throated Hummingbird

The hummingbird repaint looks pretty good!

Thanks. It took me a couple attempts to get the coloration right.
Eliminated the base it initially came with

I've acquired the Papo caiman, which I love, and the CollectA turkey.  The turkey is extremely impressive.  There's a few turkeys by the main toy companies and they all look extremely well-detailed, even though Schleich's isn't great.  I'm surprised so much care has gone into these turkey figures, but I'm not complaining!  I chose the CollectA turkey as it appealed to me the most and I'm very happy with it, it's a beautiful figure.

Quickly building up the Safari Tennessee Aquarium salamanders. I wasn't too interested in these because of their size, but like the Marsh Education fish I have determined this is a set to be completed!

I got 5 of these in an eBay lot. I recently acquired the crested newt. I have a source for the red-cheeked, so the only one to hunt down is the mudpuppy. I might get a GITD one and have Paige paint it, but I might just hold out.

BTW I already had the Yonahlossee, so I have an extra if anyone in the US needs one.

Saarlooswolfhound

Congratulations! I am missing the mudpuppy (of course) and the red-cheeked. But I do think these are must haves so I'm glad you snagged some!
