Hello friends, this is the figure of Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) Linnaeus, 1758 of Lontic/Nayab - Wild Life.. Total lenght is 180 mm. This figure was realised in 2005 and it is retiredThe giraffe's scattered range extends from Chad in the north to South Africa in the south, and from Niger in the west to Somalia in the east. Giraffes usually inhabit savannas, grasslands, and open woodlands. Their primary food source is acacia leaves, which they browse at heights most other herbivores cannot reach. Giraffes are preyed on by lions; their calves are also targeted by leopards, spotted hyenas, and wild dogs.

Lontic/Nayab is a toy brand that it is specialize in toy animal playsets. It has produced some figures of animals and dinosaurs with a really nice quality. This is one of the best examples of this.  Sculpt, colors and details are beautiful. I bouhgt this figure in a flea market the last month  ^-^.

Nice, never seen this giraffe before. :) But isn't this just Nayab (and not "Sea Life")?

Haven't you head Andre? It is now believed giraffes evolved long necks so they can walk on the bottom of the ocean and still breathe air  8) :P >:D

Does anyone know where I could get hold of some Nayab wildlife? I only have one figure and I have no idea where I got it.
Don't I take long uploading photos!
