Hello friends, this is the figure of Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) Linnaeus, 1758 of Collecta-Wild Life. Total lenght is 200 mm. This figure was realised in 2005 and it is retiredThe giraffe's scattered range extends from Chad in the north to South Africa in the south, and from Niger in the west to Somalia in the east. Giraffes usually inhabit savannas, grasslands, and open woodlands. Their primary food source is acacia leaves, which they browse at heights most other herbivores cannot reach. Giraffes are preyed on by lions; their calves are also targeted by leopards, spotted hyenas, and wild dogs.

Collecta is a young brand of figures, but in his short time of existence, they have done a lot of figures of different species of animals (included rare species of dinosaurs and animals). In their category of wild life, they have included the Old English Sheepdog. This figure is a nice representation of this animal. The colors are exact and the details are nice and the sculpture is beautiful. I think that it is one of the best figures of this animal and a good acquistion for giraffes collectors. I bought this figure in aI bought this figure in a flea market the last sunday and I fixed a lot of scuffs that it had even it had a broken ear and I did with green stuff ^-^.
