Hello friends, this is the figure of American Bison (Bison bison) Linnaeus, 1758 of Schleich - Wild Life. Total lenght is 120mm. This figure was relased in 2004 and it is retired currently. A bison has a shaggy, long, dark brown winter coat, and a lighter weight, lighter brown summer coat. As is typical in ungulates, the male bison are slightly larger than the female and, in some cases, can be considerably heavier. American bison live in river valleys, and on prairies and plains. Typical habitat is open or semi-open grasslands, as well as sagebrush, semi-arid lands and scrublands. Some lightly wooded areas are also known historically to have supported bison. Bison will also graze in hilly or mountainous areas where the slopes are not steep.

Schleich are one of the oldest brands that they do figures currently. They have done new figures of some old replicas even their cubs, calfs and juveniles. This replica is one of their old figures. This figure is a very nice replica. The proportions of this figure are nice from my point of view. I think that. Details of hair are really good. The stand of this figure is nice. I think that it is a good replica of this specie. I bought this figure in a flea market the last sunday and I fixed a lot of scuffs that it had ^-^.
