Hello friends, this is the figure of Black Leopard (Panthera pardus) Linnaeus, 1758 of Papo - Wild Life. Total lenght is 170mm. This figure was relased in 2003 and it is avaliable currently. The species' success in the wild is in part due to its opportunistic hunting behavior, its adaptability to habitats, its ability to run at speeds approaching 58 kilometres per hour (36 mph), its unequaled ability to climb trees even when carrying a heavy carcass, and its notorious ability for stealth. The leopard consumes virtually any animal that it can hunt down and catch. Its habitat ranges from rainforest to desert terrains. Fossils of early leopard ancestors have been found in East Africa and South Asia from the Pleistocene of 2 to 3.5 Ma. The modern leopard is suggested to have evolved in Africa 470,000–825,000 years ago and radiated across Asia 170,000–300,000 years ago. In Europe, the leopard is known at least since the Pleistocene.

Papo is a young brand in the world of figures if we compare them wit Safari or Schleich, but they have a important place in the world currently. They are famous for their figures of felines and dinosaurs. This figure is one of the first replicas of felines of this brand.  The sculpture is perfect with a good details of its hair and great definition in its face. The color of this figure is fantastic with a good spotted patron ^-^. Proportions are awesome. The stalker stand is one of the best points of its. I think that. Definetly it is  the best figure of leopard from my point of view. It is one of my favorite figures of my collection and I  I bought this figure in a flea market two weeks ago ^-^.
