Scarlet Macaw (Schleich-Wild Life).

Hello friends, this is the figure of Scarlet Macaw (Ara macao) Linnaeus, 1758 of Schleich-Wild Life. Total lenght is 50mm and nowadays is retired. It is about 81 centimetres (32 in) long, of which more than half is the pointed, graduated tail typical of all macaws, though the scarlet macaw has a larger percentage of tail than the other large macaws.









Schleich released long time ago diferents species of tropical birds but this great collection currently, have been retired.  I think that this figure is a great replica of this animal. Colors are very nice and the sculpture, stand and details are very nice also. I think that currently it is a beautiful and great figure for collectors of birds in general
