Hello friends, this is the figure of Weddell Seall (Leptonychotes weddellii)Lesson, 1826 of Lontic/Nayab - Sea Life. Total lenght is 90 mm. The Weddell seal grows a thin fur coat around their whole body except for small areas around the flippers. The colour and pattern of the coat varies, often fading to a duller colour as the seal ages. This coat moults around the beginning of summer. Adults are generally brown, with lighter ventral (belly) pelage.

Lontic/Nayab is a toy brand that it is specialize in toy animal playsets. It has produced some figures of animals and dinosaurs with a really nice quality. This is one of the best examples of this.  Sculpt, and details are really awesome. I Think that it is one of the best replica of this specie. I bouhgt this figure the last monday in a great store  ^-^.

Ah, thanks, I forgot that they were all in one box, I only remembered the larger articulated ones like the Colossal Squid. :) Too bad it doesn't seem to be a company that has stores in Germany, never heard of them.

Found nearly all the Antarctic sets in a shopping centre in Wales. I had no idea at the time that these figures were very sought after.
Don't I take long uploading photos!
