Hello friends, this is the figure of South Polar Skua (Stercorarius maccormicki) Saunders, 1893 of Lontic/Nayab - Sea Life. Total wingspan lenght is 110 mm.Distinguishing this skua from the northern hemisphere Arctic, Pomarine and long-tailed skuas is relatively straightforward. The large size, massive barrel chest, and white wing flashes of this bird are distinctive even at a distance. The flight is direct and powerful.

Lontic/Nayab is a toy brand that it is specialize in toy animal playsets. It has produced some figures of animals and dinosaurs with a really nice quality. This is one of the best examples of this.  Sculpt, and details are really awesome. I Think that it is one of the best replica of this specie. I bouhgt this figure the last monday in a great store  ^-^.

Still a nice figure I wouldn't want to miss (mine was part of those Lontic Antarctic playsets which continued two different figures per box)! :) Even though it is not as unique anymore since the release of the Kitan Club Nankyoku version.
