Hello friends, this is the figure of Whale shark (Rhincodon typus) Smith, 1828 of Bullyland - Sea Life. Total lenght is 225 mm . This figure was relased in 2012 and it is avaliable nowadays .Whale sharks have a mouth that can be 1.5 m (4.9 ft) wide, containing 300 to 350 rows of tiny teeth and 10 filter pads which it uses to filter feed.Whale sharks have five large pairs of gills. The head is wide and flat with two small eyes at the front. Whale sharks are grey with a white belly. Their skin is marked with pale yellow spots and stripes which are unique to each individual. The whale shark has three prominent ridges along its sides. Its skin can be up to 10 cm (3.9 in) thick. The shark has a pair of dorsal fins and pectoral fins. Juveniles' tails have a larger upper fin than lower fin, while the adult tail becomes semilunate. The whale shark's spiracles are just behind its eyes.











Bullyland have done a lot of figures of animals, but the quality of their figures are not too good. Currently the quality of their figures are better than the past. Nowadays, they have done figures of some obscures sepecies. This figure is a good example of a this species and great quality figure. The sculpt, details, colors and proportions are really goods. They have done a good work with the guills and its mouth. I bought this figure in a store of Tarifa ( Spain ) two weeks ago  .

It's good to finally see a walk-around of the Bullyland Whale Shark, Jetoar! I was always considering getting it and I never really knew what to think about it. I would have wished the corner of the mouth wasn't set so far back but other than that it looks great!

Thanks partner, I like to much, over all the head details. The only mistake that I see is the fin tail  .
