My first crustacean was the Papo brown crab and it was such a good figure I got their Lobster too a few years later.

I have the Bandai Japanese Spider Crab which is magnificent, but it requires the assembly of 64 micro pieces which is extraordinarily annoying.

I have the magnific Kaiyodo Japanese spider crab instead, it also requires assembly, but only 11 pieces (body and each leg) so is quite satisfying. My only other crustacean is a Kaiyodo Alaskan king crab. I need desperately the Kaiyodo Tasmanian giant crab and the Kaiyodo American lobster and giant isopod. I have a Kaiyodo Japanese spiny lobster out of my collection, bought and after discarded for being too big.

Just realizing now that all my crustaceans present, wanted and rejected for my collection are Kaiyodo. Even a wished "almost a crustacean" (the ChocoQ horseshoe crab) is also a Kaiyodo.
