Well, it finally happened. I bought the Yujin red swamp crayfish (bluish ver), but... I had a nightmare assembling it. I had to glue it together, and I got super glue on the figure. My stupidity decided to apply acetone to the glue on the figure, and now some of the paint is gone. How can I fix this? Attached are some pictures of my mistake. The tan spots are where I presume the acetone rubbed off the paint. :(

You could try doing a subtle wash over the entire figure, that might make the spots blend in and look like natural patterning or discoloration. If that still looks off you could try to match the paint as best you can and then do a wash over that.

I'm sorry to hear this!  It reminds me of my first time supergluing a Kaiyodo figure together.  I ended up getting superglue on areas where it shouldn't be and ruining the figure.  Fortunately I was able to buy a replacement which I was able to superglue together without a problem, learning from the previous experience.

I've used acetone on figures in the past and it does remove paint.  I can't add any advice...
