Hi again,

I would love to treat myself to a greater kudu. Schleich produced its own version, but I find that Papo's is much much better-looking. So I could add the Schleich kudu calf and display them on my shelf with my bongos and giant elands.

Do you find Papo's replica successful ? Or do you think it's worth waiting for hypothetical Collecta versions of this animal (adult and calf) ?

Papo's kudu is the only antelope I've ever sought out. I find it extremely regal and looks good on the shelf.
I like turtles.

Papo's version is very good but also quite large. The same size if not larger than CollectA's Eland. I get that it is a large antelope but I found the size to be a bit too big.

Mine is Papo but I haven't made an effort to compare it with other brands yet.

You can see a comparison of kudu figures on my website, just scroll down a bit.

Sad that it's so large. I guess you own both of them. Does the kudu look out of place when facing the bongo or the eland on a shelf ? Do you have pictures for comparison ?

@Aeglil I have the SafariLtd Lesser Kudu. And I had actually purchased the Greater Kudu from HappyHenToys but was so displeased with its unusually large size I just returned it. So, no, I don't have it anymore.

Thank you! I have had models since I was 3, collecting since 2009, and am not a synoptic collector so yes, I have a lot of figures at this stage. :) I am happy to do comparisons for you of all the models you are curious about (assuming that I own them, I often do). Send me a PM and I will try to take photos by the weekend for you.
