Papo Mouflon ———> Dall Sheep?

One of my favorite animals in North America is the bighorn sheep, but I like the Dall Sheep as well. In an effort to expand my species collection, I was thinking about buying the "Papo Mouflon" and repainting it to represent a Dall Sheep (Ovis dalli). Should be a simple enough job and from what I can tell both are anatomically similar enough for it to work. Before I proceed does anyone have anything to add?

It would probably work. You could try to track down the Bullyland figure from long ago!

I did that with the Schleich mouflon (from mountain set) and works fine

The bully figure is pretty small though. I can present my sheep in my Curious Compendium topic tomorrow so you can see some scale comparisons. I repainted a New Ray into a dall sheep, and I think the Papo will work just as well for it! There are no significant physical differences for it to not work.

Looks kinda ugly tbh. And finding retired bullyland figures is practically impossible. I'm still looking for their blue spotted stingray.

At one time I had two of those! But I don't anymore, sorry.

I was able to track down the stingray several years ago. Traded with someone in...the Netherlands I think...

Well this Mouflon did indeed come in, but to my dislike it is larger than I was expecting. So I won't be repainted Papo's Mouflon.
