Cenozoic Fauna

During a interview with David silva on the Cyberzoic line,
and about making a toy company, the creative beast studio creator has confirmed very incredible and awesome plans to make a modern animal toy line that also coincides with other toy lines David Silva has created such as the beasts of the Mesozoic, cyberzoic, and the upcoming beast of the Cenozoic lore wise. Its all one universe, meaning past modern and future, and hints at other toy lines in different eras as well which is really cool!

Here's the video and interview
At 20:25 in the video is where David Silva mentions about bringing in a modern animal line at some point,
and at 35:12 in the video David Silva mentions elephants, wolfs, and giraffes briefly in the discussion of modern animal action figures. And even talks about how cool it would be to make marine animals like whales and sharks, but does mention it would be a challenge in the articulation department wise. And is discussed at 38:00 in the video interview.

Also How cool is that!? A modern animal action figure toy line from creative beast studio?! sounds really incredibly Cool and awesome!

Hoping for crocodilians such as the saltwater crocodile, Nile crocodile,

and the creative beast studio definitely needs to make a terrestrial Cuban crocodile figure
a modern day equivalent to the giant ziphodont terrestrial crocodile quinkana, and looks like  kaprosuchus, and voay robustus with those horns and has large recurred teeth and very long limb, especially the ones at the guama croc farm in Cuba which have the longest limb portions and the most robust, large horns, and have genes no longer found in the wild population and captive ones outside of Cuba

Would also be cool to have different paint schemes release for the animals like color morphs that occur in the wild and in captivity like melinistic, albino, lusistic, and even something like a golden tiger color morph.

Also hybrid animals would be cool and interesting as well in the line to as an idea, like Siamese saltwater croc hybrids, Ligers, polar grizzly hybrid bears, and wolf coyote hybrids.

For my personal taste I absolutely never would buy a figurine of hybrid animals nor color morphs, however a good quality Cuban or even saltwater crocodile figurine at adequate size could go to my wishlist.

Indeed, also for a Cuban crocodile figure from the line, it would need to be based on the ones at the guama crocodile farm in Cuba since are truly Cuban crocodiles, and have genes no longer found in the wild population or even in captivity and in zoos outside of Cuba. Also are the most agile, and have longest limb proportions of any Cuban crocodile population as well as any modern extant crocodilian, also having unusually large teeth that are very recurved, and have the most morphological distinctions like very large squamosal horns taller short, broad deep skulls. And Cubans crocs have heavily keeled armored limbs as well, and can high walk very easily and can gallop as well very well, even rotary and transverse galloping! And used to inhabit fully terrestrial ecosystems in the Bahamas and Dominican Republic, and are ecologically, morphology, and behaviorally among the most distinctive species of extant crocodilians.

Also hope the saltwater crocodile is based on the giant specimens from bhitarkanika national park India, there are a lot of 20 foot saltwater crocodiles living in the mangrove swamps there, and one has been
estimated at 23 foot, and 2,205 pounds.

And also the Nile croc to be based on the ones living in the Masai Mara river, which have the broadest skulls around, and  is due to hunting modern megafauna such as the wildebeest more often, and also during the migration.

Also which species are you looking forward to being in this line of highly detailed modern animal action figures?

Me personally, I am not a fan of 'action figures', even for taxa I want to collect. But given the popularity of the dinosaurs, I am sure extant animals will do well. Best of luck!!!

Indeed! Also I completely understand, also very true, I'm wondering how the elephants will be articulated, especially the trunk? Maybe different swappable trunks with different poses perhaps. Also for semi Aquatic crocs Hope the back leg articulation will be very well engineered and able to have the same leg motion and movements of the actual crocodile, such as belly crawl, high walk, and galloping poses, or other dynamic ambush lunging poses, or turning and about to chomp at something from the side pose.

Also big cats and bear will also be another group that is very likely to appear, and will probably have the swappable expressions, faces, a roaring one, and a closed mouth that can articulate to a degree, same with the bears, which I also hope can stand up right which would be cool.

Also a cassowary or Komodo dragon and Cuban croc would also be cool as well as a hippo, rhino, Buffalo, and spiral horned antelope, or perhaps even the okapi, the giraffes closest living relative. Also on the subject of non articulated figures, I hope a company out there will make a line of very detailed and accurate modern animal figures similar to pnso, Papo, or safari ltd in a way.

Also southlands Replicas almost was able to make, produce the most accurate and detailed saltwater crocodile on the market, hopefully at some point, it's cool that southlands replicas is now making sculpts for mojo funs animals figures, and rereleases of southlands replicas other models that were made.

Also wonder if pnso will make larger modern animal figures some day?
Also regarding this new line, wonder if smaller species like a spider will be made into a large accurate figure in its own scale or a scorpion, vinnagaroon, or even a rhinoceros beetle? Or even a line of modern animal Skeletal action figures. Also would be cool to see what figures will be in the first line of modern animal figures when it is eventually made at some point in the future.

Also wonder if sub species will make the list of possible figures in this future line?
Very cool and intriguing prospects for this line! Also guessing it will be in the 1/18 scale and I wonder if the species will be based on the largest modern verifiable recorded record of a species, or historical records? And indeed Very Interesting to see this line in the future.
