AZA Cuban Crocodile for TAW

Found this guy on ebay. Saw that it was labeled K&M on the belly stamp but I didn't recognize it. It was listed pretty cheap so I decided to pull the trigger. Then it finally arrived in the mail! It had a tag that wasn't shown in the listing, and it is supposedly an AZA model! I have no further info on it than what is listed on the stamp and tag; its not on TAW. The model has a hollow area in the belly and its not the same heavy plastic that my red wolf or others are but... its a rather large model like others from that series. Possibly another addition for the AZA collection? :D *Not the best photos, I am in the middle of helping my Mom pack/move and her room is where the loft that holds my collection stuff is... everything is torn apart and disorganized right now*

The little tag is interesting. According to the IUCN red list there are now 3 to 5 thousand individuals. Not sure if that accurately differntiates the "purebred" crocs from the wild hybrids though.

I was excited for this find too. :) Pleasantly surprised!

I went to eBay and Amazon and searched every combo of 'K&M' 'AZA' 'Wild Republic' 'crocodile' 'Cuban crocodile' 'toy' 'model' and 'figure' with no luck LOL. Even went to AZA's website to see if they had a store (nope). Ooooo, I'll get you my pretty!!!!

did you check Etsy?  Sometimes they have obscure animal figures for sale too...

Wow. 1996. I remember those tags (but not the figure). That was back when K&M was a toy animal powerhouse.

It would be nice if they went back to it.

The figure is as old as I am! ;) This is the first time I have noticed it online but obviously I wasn't aware of its existence previously so... And yes Etsy has some sellers with odd rarities sometimes too.
