Folkmanis - New for 2023

I wasn't sure how else to categorize this, but wanted to mention the Folkmanis blue nudibranch.  While it is not the most typical genre figure we generally discuss here, but in fact a finger puppet, I think it's a very cool depiction in its own right.  It became available a couple weeks ago and I believe it represents a Felimare californiensis, which hasn't been depicted in "regular" model form as far as I know.

I saw a plush nudibranch the last time I was at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. It wasn't this one though. I tried to convince my daughter that she wanted it but she wanted a mermaid instead.    Next time if it's there I'll just get it for myself, and then she'll steal it.

National Aquarium....in Baltimore! I'll have to check that out when I am there in August for my annual baseball stadium pilgrimage!
