Here is a YouTube video showing new figures expected from Bullyland in 2023. I'll add pics once they are available.

From what I can tell, these are the new releases:

1. lion

2. tiger

3. wolf

4. Highland cattle

5. Blue Morpho butterfly

6. blue sea angel (a great opportunity if you didn't get the Ikimon version!)

7. Tyrannosaurus rex

The blue sea angel definitely caught my eye. I don't have any figures of extant animals by Bullyland so there's a lot of opportunity for me here even with the re-releases.

I kind of dig how some of their more obscure creatures are a bit blue themed; blue ringed octopus, blue morpho, blue sea angel...

Still unsure if I want the blue-ringed octopus from Bullyland but the only thing here that interests me is Glaucus atlanticus....maybe

Also according to the video the blue morpho is 4.3 x 4.4 x 10 cm, and the blue sea angel is 3.1 x 2.8 x 6.5 cm, in case anyone missed it or was curious

blue sea angel's are beautiful.......like something out of Avatar or some other fantasy film.

I have the feeling that Bullyland passed from being a brand that many collectors feared to be in risk of disappearing, to be a brand growing strong again. And looks like they improved the quality. The paintjob of the tiger for example is superior to many other western brands, and the blue sea angle is a clone of a real one. This one plus their last year blue-ringed octopus make me wonder if I should start collecting 1:1 replicas of small animals.

Sable Antelope

I'm drooling over the blue sea angel, the tiger and lion are great, but I am not a willing to shell out the same amount as for the former. Not ever day you see a toy sea slug vs a big cat.
