Hello!

I had the opportunity to get a set of "Breeds from Andalucia". A box that includes a book with information and 26 figurines.

I'm attaching individual pictures and sharing pictures of the box

That is a genuinely gorgeous set. Would love to see a full review (though it may need to be done in a few parts). Shame there aren't any dogs, would love a galgos figure.

Oh, that's a wonderful set! I think it was a limited edition and the figures are made of resin. I only know two on sale now, they are very scarce!

Most Andalusian breeds are not only ones of the oldest in Spain but in all Europe. But the sad thing is that 84% of Spanish breeds are on risk of extinction. Only few are on expansion as Andalusian horses, merino sheep, Iberic pigs ... Where I live, in the Basque Country there are lots of local breeds, too, and most of them on the brink of extinction. There are less than a hundred Basque geese (Euskal Antzara) left (a friend has 4 of them).
