I am not sure how Easter is celebrated outside of Germany, but with
Corona/Covid-19 restrictions in place, it sure will be different than in
the years before for most of us.

Remembered a game I made three years ago over in the DTF (where
I also started it again) and thought I do a "modern fauna version" too...

So here we are, borrowed some of my son`s figure for it.... there`s
29 figures (if I counted correctly), name them by species and company.

Stay healthy, enjoy and HAPPY EASTER to ya all!

(click on the picture for full resolution)

So far those have been named correctly...

Species and company:

AAA Walrus
Bullyland Green Iguana
S&N Fairy Wren
S&N Bearded Dragon
S&N Little Penguin
S&N Lorikeet
Southlands Perentie
CollectA Moloch
Colorata Marine Iguana
Colorata Veiled Chameleon
Yowie Vine Snake
Yowie Colugo
Yowie Sloth
Schleich Jaguar
Schleich Chicken
Schleich Young Chicks
Schleich Atlantic Puffin
Schleich Red Squirrel
Schleich Koala
Papo Blue Dart Frog
Mojö Emu

Species only:
African Elephant
Rabbits (count as 1)

Species suggestions:
The alligator/croc is ment to be a croc
The black bear is ment to be a brown bear
The ungulate is a (culturally influenced) cow

So here`s the solution, sorry, no hidden spoiler function here...., first off a full list:

1    Safari Crocodile
2    Playmobil Hares
3   Schleich Chicken
4   Schleich Chicken Youngs
5   Science and Nature Lorikeet
6   Science and Nature Brown Snake
7   Science and Nature Fairy Wren
8   Southlands Perentie
9   AAA Walrus
10   Bullyland Iguana
11   Science and Nature Little Penguin
12   Schleich Squirrel
13   Yowie   Sloth
14   Yowie Galago
15   Science and Nature Bearded Dragon
16   Kaiyodo Tuatara
17   Bullyland Cow
18   Schleich Koalo
19   Schleich Puffin
20   Domplast Manurba Elephant
21   Playmobil Brown Bear
22   CollectA Thorny Devil
23   Papo Anteater
24   Schleich Jaguar
25   Mojo Emu
26   Papo Blue Frog
27   Yowie Tree Snake
28   Colorata Galapagos Marine Iguana
29   Colorata Veiled Chameleon

And here`s the picture:

Here is what I  think I found. I found only 26 animals (unless the rabbit pair counts as 2):

1. Chap Mei green iguana
2. Safari Ltd. lorikeet
3. Science & Nature fairy wren
4. CollectA red squirrel
5. Safari Ltd. blue jay (Backyard Birds TOOB)
6. Schleich Atlantic puffin
7. African elephant (company?)
8. Southlands Replicas perentie
9. Colorata marine iguana
10. Colorata (?) blue poison dart frog
11. Yowie Group green vine snake
12. Schleich leopard (jaguar?)
13. rabbit pair (company?) - does this count as 1 or 2?
14. American alligator/crocodile (company?)
15. Yowie Group colugo
16. Colorata veiled chameleon
17. chicken (company?, presume Schleich)
18. young chicks (company?, presume Schleich)
19. back end of an ungulate (species/company?)
20. moloch (company?)
21. black bear (?), (company?)
22. AAA walrus (thought this was part of the tree until I enlarged the image in postimages)
23. Mojo emu
24. Yowie Group sloth
25. koala (?), (company?)
26. Science & Nature bearded dragon

Isidro

I'm absolutely amazed by your incredible superpower ability, Blaine o_o

Still can't find the bearded dragon despite exhaustive searching in the photo.
You missed an easy one, the little blue penguin right to the walrus (Colorata?)

Ahhhh. What you call the little blue penguin, I thought was the Safari TOOB blue jay.

The bearded dragon is to the far left, on a rock/wood above the green iguana (note, the S&N bearded dragon is not the best representative of this species)

Isidro

Opps, I mistook a jay with a penguin! 0_0 ¬¬ Now I should self-ban from all ornithology circles :(

Thanks, now I can seen the bearded dragon (well just the tail and hind legs - there is a plant over the body :P )

bmathison1972

You could be correct, Isidro. It might be a blue penguin. Looking at my figure of the Safari blue jay, the color on the breast isn't quite right...

bmathison1972

the lorikeet must be S&N too, then. I'll have to snoop around the others later

bmathison1972

I also wonder if the green iguana is Bullyland, since you indicated it is not Chap Mei and it is clearly not Schleich or Safari.

-Is the little penguin the S&N figure?
-Is the blue poison dart frog the Papo version?
-Is the Moloch the CollectA version?
-Are the koala and red squirrel the Schleich versions?
(a.k.a. Ravonium, on the DTF and STS)

5/5 ;)

I updated the entrance post for all correct solutions of all of you :)

bmathison1972

Oh for the blue poison frog, I meant to say Papo LOL. Oh well. Fun game.

bmathison1972

I missed the brown snake entirely. I did see the backend of the anteater but totally forgot to mention it (I doubt I would have gotten the brand, and I wasn't sure it even was an anteater, but that was my initial suspicion).

this was fun, as a kid I loved those 'seek and find' type games!
