I bought several figurines on Aliexpress from the Oenux brand. Usually, they mainly make copies of other brands. But, as with their hornbills, it seems that they made these figurines themselves. So, I'm showing them to you.

There are two hornbills, one male and one female. I believe this figurine represents the Rufous-necked hornbill species.

Then there are two ducks, male and female, of the Mandarin duck species.

Et enfin un pic et un martin pécheur. Je suis incapable de reconnaitre l'espèce.

I bought the hornbills but they are too big for me so they are going to @Saarlooswolfhound  :))

I've acquired the cute CollectA kiwi and the Mojo black swan.  I find the black swan satisfying, it's the figure of this animal that looks the most like the real animal in my opinion.  It replaces the Science and nature black swan in my collection, another good figure but its beak is too pointy I think.  I've had the bases of these figures removed by Martin Garratt.  I've also had some of my Wing Mau snakes repainted by Martin and I'm pleased with the result.  I intend to show them here soon!

I took advantage of a recent discount on the PNSO Amazon store and grabbed the white dolphin. It's lovely in person!

I've acquired my first Yujin figures!  They are the red swamp crayfish, Japanese crayfish and red-pincered crab!  The crab coming already assembled was a nice surprise.  The assembly of the two crayfish was challenging but I managed!  It was notably tough to insert the red crayfish's pincers!  I'm happy to have these figures, although I would still love a small figure of the Galapagos Sally Lightfoot crab to be made!

On eBay search last week and I was able to find the remaining 3 Trendmasters Insect Predators, the scorpion, wasp, and, the one I am most excited for, the mosquito. Interestingly the scorpion is the only one in the set of six not identified with at least a Latin genus name. The designations for the wasp and mosquito make them unique species!

Finally made my way over here (some of you may know me from the DTF) after lurking for ages, the incident behind this was me getting those two guys from my mom, the Schleich hippo (though I prefer the Papo sculpt, the paint on the teeth is really nice on this one) and the black rhino, which I really enjoy.
I've been branching out into some more extant animals over the last few years (more on that in a thread lol) so those two were a pleasant surprise, may wanna add a white rhino down the line (I do already have Schleichs Indian rhino which I like a lot.
(Also it's very funny to me how their modern animals are leagues ahead of many of their extinct offerings)
