Starting this thread as I feel there isn't a hammerhead shark figure that wows me like the great whites and whale sharks and it's quite sad as they are amongst the most iconic sea animals.

CollectA:
pros:
Head correctly resembles a scalloped hammerhead shark

Nice teeth detail for being an old figure

cons:
ridges on fins are distracting
4 gills only
Sickle fin makes it like a chimera btw a great and Scalloped

Papo:
Pros: Sculpt captures a Scalloped hammerhead very well
features nostrils at the correct place

Cons:
too big to scale with alot of figures

Safari LTD (wild safari)

pros:
sickle shaped dorsal fin is accurate for a Great hammerhead
correct gill count

Cons:
Too skinny
Head too narrow
lack of ridges to tell if it's a great hammerhead
nostrils incorrectly placed
Ridges on fins detracts from the figure

Safari ltd Monterey bay aquarium
Pros:

Identifiable as a Great hammerhead

Cons:
Too big with most figures
too skinny
tail looks off.

Schleich

pros:
Identifiable as a Great hammerhead with accurate anatomy and appropriate bulk

Cons:
casted out of the dreaded rubbery plastic
looks ABIT too cartoony with how it's mouth is opened and eye paint application

Japanese brands ar great but all are too small. Some maybheblarge enough to pass off as smaller nature adults however.

I'm not thrilled by any of the hammerhead shark figures that are available. I don't have any of them. Well, except for the Safari bonnethead.

Well said. Though the best one is the Papo one and it's a little too big. I've seen knockoffs that are basically it shrunken down and I'm tempted to get it as the hammerhead of my collection
