The new Avatar movie is out and while I haven't seen it (don't know if I can sit for 3 hours 15 minutes+)  I have seen lots of clips from it and the design of many of the animals are beautiful.  McFarlane toys has come out with a line of figures for the new movie and among them are a Mega Banshee from the first movie with about a 24 inch wingspan and a Mega Skimwing flying fish, with a wingspan of about 19 inches or so.  They are compatible with the line of 7 inch figures that are also available.

To date i have not added any fantasy animals to my collection, though I've been tempted by some of the Star Wars critters, especially the Rancor and Bantha.  These Avatar figures are really tempting me...

I collect a lot of fantasy creatures. I have all the banshees from Avatar and am quite excited about the new movie. One animal I collect is gars, and the skimwing's head is very gar-like. The ilu is quite similar to a plesiosaur too. I thought the mudhorn from The Mandalorian would appeal to a lot of folks, as it's an Elasmotherium.
I like turtles.

I have a few fantasy/fictional animals but I don't collect them. When I do get them they're usually cryptids, kaiju, or movie monsters.

I don't collect them but I did a homemade a "fox-squirrel" from the Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind movie, as a suprise gift for a custom that also asked me for a homemade kangaroo and echidna and knowing his personal tastes for this movie and this creature (I share tastes and love Miyazaki). Sadly, the trade had to be cancelled, so I still keep the fox-squirrel.

I don't unless you count pokemon and SpongeBob SquarePants characters to be fictional animals
