The box with the oarfish, Atlantic football fish, viperfish, etc...
Do they or should I say, which of those are able to stand under their own weight not needing the base?

NSD Bashe

I don't completely remember at this point, but I think a number of them were at least possible to stand without the bases, like the gulper eel and ratfish and barreleye and I think even the footballfish could stand (but that one I think that one was pretty easy to knock over).  I think at least the oar fish, viperfish and spiderfish needed the bases to stand at all--I feel like the spiderfish could almost stand on its own but the fins fall out too easily and didn't support it well or something.  Anyway I just kept all the bases on mine, they felt more secure that way.  Also a warning while trying to snap the barreleye together try not to let the pieces go flying; it's also the most difficult to keep in one piece.  Really is better to just give it the base (preferably before trying to snap the fins in place)
