After some inspiration from @Isidro I've decided to make my own models. I'll soon be posting a picture of my first figure: a blue Malaysian coral snake.

Great choice!!! Snakes are relatively easy to build, so it's a good choice for your first model. I'm glad that my work inspired you to follow the same way than me :)

I'm now in the process of making more snakes, until I can get the sculpting right for other species. Since I don't have paints currently I'm using Sharpie pens. They're surprisingly good and don't rub off.

New batch out the oven. 3 snakes and one rodent. Now onto colouring.

I'm very anxious to see the result my friend! :)

To be honest @Isidro they aren't particularly good. The Malayan coral snake isn't bad but it is my first time doing models.

3 more snakes: Mud snake, black banded trinket snake and a green palm viper.

The 3 snakes I made earlier were: another Malaysian coral snake, mangrove snake and a false coral snake.

You will end with a great snake collection!
Nobody can expect that you do perfect models from the first try. We all learn from experience and that can be slow. But I like to see the result because I appreciate you rather that for being an exciting model itself :)
