In March 2020, the Dango Mush 06 set, including what looks like may be a new ceratocanthine and a box crab (unpainted at the moment, but I presume Calappa lophos)

Super excited, just look at this adorable little thing! Correct me if I'm wrong but does this set contain every Dango Mushi mold that's been made so far?

Maybe, at least everything out so far (set 05, which is slated for next month, is scheduled to have a giant marine isopod)

Yup. Gonna be needing that.  ;D

hahahah, I KNEW that would grab ya!
If this does well I wonder if they might do an Uromastyx sculpt as well at some point, especially given this lines fondness of colour variants.

*edit* After a quick double check, Uromastyx do in fact not also do this. Though the horizontal curling of most lizards (ironically not including Uromastyx...) is probably the next closest thing to already covered groups after armadillos and pangolins. Though likely difficult to get looking nice with the articulation.

In the meantime, there is no shortage of beautiful isopods and box crabs to cover!

Bandai should be releasing a 1:1 insect set this year, including a 1:1 weta (did you catch that @sphyrna18 @stargatedalek ). The site won't let me download images, but here is the link:

And a Goliath beetle too! I still haven't tracked down the Deagostini version so that and a weta is two new ones I've been hoping for.

Sweet!  Thanks, Blaine, for alerting me!!  I'll have to definitely keep my eyes open for that Weta!

Preview of the Bandai box crab:

Avian

That's a beautiful figure. Is this a 1:1 figure as well? If not, does anybody know what scale it is?

(Man, I haven't posted here in while, I guess i turned into a lurker  :P)
You must understand the past before you can change the future.

I don't know the size range off-hand but given the size of other Dango Mushi figures, it will probably be greater than 1:1.

Suzumebachi 2 (a set of 3 wasps; the second this year - I hadn't posted the first three yet). Expected November 2020
Vespa ducalis
Vespa crabro
Vespa dybowskii

The V. dybowskii is a new species; the other two have been made only once (to my knowledge) and not easy to come by

Looks like the march of the giant Bandai arthropods continues. Just released:

EDIT: Exclusive of the clear figure, there are two genders in two colors each (the one with the broader abdomen is a female).
