Now that heading is straight out of the science-journalist's handbook.

The whale itself was identified in 1846; it's connection to a group thought extinct was only recently determined. Nobody thought this particular species was gone for 2 million years; the amazing part is that yet another 'extinct' group was found to have a still-living remnant.

As far as I know, no figure brand has ever made one, yet. But thinking of the rather obscure whale species CollectA has released in recent years, I wouldn't rule out the possibility that we'll see one within the next years.
