as far as i know there are eleven series in the Kaiyodo Furuta/Takara chocoQ/choco egg series (wild animals) and five series for pets, and there are the two series for "funny animals". what are the ones that came after these older series and when were they issued? also since we are on the subject of Kaiyodos, are there resources for info/lists other than the links below (with better pics and text info in english)?

thanks all for posting these; nice to have them in one sport. The 'asahi' site is a private collector'spage but  use it a lot to see what figures are availaibe, confirm scientific names, and see what Iam still missing :)

yes ive been using them also for a long time. might be incomplete and the informations are kind of vague but still very useful.

Thanks for the ninjaaquarium link. Might be useful :).
The Natural Monuments of Japan page is incomplete ;D. The specials (blue Zarigani, Geoemyda japonica juvenile and Honshū Wolf) are missing.

By the way ~ for Dinotales - Dr. Andre's Kaiyodo Dinotales Reference Galleries are highly recommended :).

Hehe, thanks for mentioning, Helge.  :) Although I have to admit that the site needs updating, too. :-[ I thought about replacing all photos by better and newer ones (and adding the black & white special Tyrannosaurus from Series 1), eventually.

The Study Room figures (12 resins & 9 capsules) - only available at the National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo -
are listed on the museum shop's site: http://www.kahaku.go.jp/english/userguide/access/shop/index.html
