White Tigress Roaring (AAA)

Among the modern cats, none are bigger than the tiger, and famous among these is the Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris). The stripes on each being an individuals’ fingerprint, and the orange hiding it in the forests of India. But every so often, one is born heavier and larger than others, as well as lacks the vibrant orange, but instead a bright white. These white tigers are rare in the wild, but common in zoos and entertainment industries, with many so inbreed to result in many issues for the animal’s health. This distinctive form is no stranger to being replicated in toy form, and here, we see one of AAA’s many attempts at it.

Here we see that this is a decent sculpt, for an older figure; the sculpting of the fur details in quite nicely, even getting points like the shoulders and head – very nicely done. The paws are a little simplistic, but perhaps it’s claws are just retracted right now. The tail may be a tad long, but it’s otherwise nicely made.

This is quite a large figure, measuring 7.1″ long and 3.2″ high, making it great for kids, but needing space for collectors on their shelves. The pose is dynamic, roaring a challenge or marking it’s territory. It is very nicely painted, well done here.

While an old figure, and with more higher quality figures out there now, it is still a nice one, well worth getting. It isn’t the only tiger made with this sculpt (the regular orange ones were painted white for new figures quite often), so if you like the stance, it’s easy to find. It is discontinued, so eBay is your best bet (if I had a pound for every time I say this here!). Definitely consider it.
