  H. dujardini attacking Agatsuma's Tardigrade

sbell

Yay Tardigrades! Reason enough to hunt down this set!

bmathison1972

Nice!!! I just ordered this set, too. Very happy to see the 'secret' Figure will be something in my taxonomic interests. I was hoping for a copepod, but I can't complain about a tardigrade!

P.S...thanks Helge for directing me to it.

Oh, right. Mixed those up. Nope, no isopods, sorry. :-\

Speaking of isopods, it would be so cool if AAA (or any other company) made a life cast of a real isopod. Creepy, but cool. I know a Japanese company made a plush toy of one, but they were so popular they sold out very quickly.

Also, I want that King Slime plush >:D

They came flying from far away, now I'm under their spell....

How long does it generally take to hear back once an order is placed and submitted? I see they are sold out now, so I', hoping it's just a weekend delay or something.

I received an email the next day (time differences). Then I had to 'reply' to that email acknowledging my intent. They then send payment instructions for PayPal.

Next to the Waterflea the Waterbear was also my main reason to buy the set :).

The longest time I had to wait for a reply was 2 days.

I did finally hear back and got to pay. So my set will be on the way in a few days!

These are so great! :D I can't wait to get mine, like usually they are spending most of their transit time in customs at Frankfurt Airport... this very package is in customs since Dec. 27th... give it a week or so before they process and deliver it... ::)

Pretty fast for an Asian delivery, aren't they?

Postsaurischian, thank you for posting about the set of microbes from Takara Tomy.
The seller, Kidsroom Ichiba Shop, was on vacation when I ordered a set, so about a week passed before shipping.
He mailed on Friday, and delivery was on Monday, yesterday.  Very fast.
I am excited to show these protists to my little grandson because I gave him a microscope for Christmas.

Hope you get it soon... I had a similar experience with my T-A.R.T.S microbes - like usually the EMS parcel took approx. 36 hours from Tokyo to Frankfurt Airport. And like usually it was delayed in customs for about one week until it was handed over to me. You sometimes get the feeling someone has to prevent overseas parcels from being as fast as domestic ones... :P
