Hehe, molecular data has already suggested that either the Polar Bear should be regarded as a subspecies of Ursus arctos or the latter would be paraphyletic. And now this molecular evidence is apparently supported by previously unknown morphological characters, too... or is that phenotypic plasticity? :o ;D
